Original vintage 1940s knitted evening bag with multi-coloured wooden beads and Bakelite base.

This lovely little bag has a folk style made in a delicate and very tight crotchet silk cord with metallic gold knit base and top threaded with colourful beads. The bag is then sewn to the faux tortiseshell base. 
Fastens with a drawstring top finished with gold tips.

Condition: in good wearable condition. Light general wear overall. No beads missing, slight tarnishing to metal wear. Home made. Please see photos. Cleaned and ready to wear.

As with most vintage items, this bag has been previously worn and is over 50 years old.
