An Uptider is a specialist rod used in fast flowing water when boat fishing, and as the name suggests, when you’re casting up tide.
The new Mark 2 is capable of casting 90-200 grammes & the rod has a fast J Curve tip which means you can use a lighter lead and line/braid to combat the tide.
